I am experiencing side effects of 'planning overload'. For the second time in a month, and the first times in my life I forgot to set my alarm, and was late for work. I have decided its time for a change. And after reading this you'll see why,
MY WEDDING RESOLUTIONS
1. I will no longer neglect things that were important to me before the wedding, I do still want a new job!!
2. I will no longer open my wedding binder everytime my supervisor turns his back to see what I havent planned yet.
3. I will not check my AOL, cell phone, 8000 times a day to see if that vendor returned my call.
4. I will not go to Michael's bi-weekly to see if they invented something new.
5. I will not try and make every craft that I see on this website, and get upset when the margins dont come out perfectly. I am not Martha Stewart, and that is ok.
6. I will not feel like someone out there will do it cheaper, and they just werent one of the 30 vendors I already called.
7. I will not change my mind again about the centerpiece. I have to come to terms with the fact that no one makes red, unscented tealight candles in clear cups.
8. It is OK to call a vendor and say you have 'less than a year left'
9. I WILL NOT GET MAD EVERYTIME FH FORGETS TO DO THE ONE FU*KING THING I ASKED HIM TO DO.
This post was brought to you by a long ride home from Jamaica to Long Beach.

Re: Confessions of a Planaholic
This list is great! LOL!!
Thanks for the laughs - it really is needed sometimes, just to put it all in perspective.
Sometimes I forget I had A LIFE and did other thhings b/f I got engaged ... now everything is about the wedding!
You only forgot to add to 'try not to spend more than 15 hours a day LIWs, talking to your friends about wedding details!'
(yeah right .. who am I KIDDING with that one! This site is awesome!!)

I am showing this to FH just to prove I am not the only 'obsessed' bride (He thinks I'm nuts)! Thanks for the laugh!

I am also a FW of NYPD, he also thinks Im nuts on these boards daily. The funniest was when I told him there are boards for newlyweds, house hunting, and family planning. He was thrilled.

Re: Confessions of a Planaholic
That is so funny, I do all of the exact same things, in fact I am at work right now. And I also have a long ride home every night to think even more from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma....

Re: Confessions of a Planaholic
Have you tried Party Light for the unscented red tea lights? I know they have red, and I also know they have clear cups. I also know they have unscented pillar candles in colors. Perhaps they carry unscented tea lights in red.
As you can see I am totally consumed. All I talk about is the wedding. And when I go out to relax and have a good time all anyone can ask me is how are my wedding plans going! Arrggg... I have like 2 years I haven’t done a thing!
