If I get a chance tonight I will post some pics of some of my other classes from a couple of years ago. You will see a little of the ceremony, how the children are presented to the Bishop and how their name is presented.

Re: Confirmation..
The name they chose will be recorded on their Confirmation certificate which in some churchs is needed in order to have a full mass when you get married. Since the Pope and Bishops are Jesus's spokespersons, then each child who is receiving Confirmation can not be presented to the Pope to receive the sacrament, each borough/city/town has about 5-6 Bishops for each section in that borough/city/town, so that Bishop blesses them and presents them with the sacrament.

Re: Confirmation..
Ok, that makes sense. What is teh sacrament?? This catholic faith has a lot of rules and what not. So if you did not go thru this process you cannot have a full mass??

Re: Confirmation..
I don't mind helping Shamma out. Like I said, I have been teaching this for 14 years so I am so use to all these questions. The sacrament of Confirmation is the third step to becoming a full member of the church. The child who receives Confirmation is suppose to receive the Holy Spirit, which will help her in her learning more about God, her faith and her life. Some churchs require it for a full mass but some do not.

Re: Confirmation..
You can receive Confirmation at any age after 11 or 12. If you have been studying CCD since you were little than you would receive your Confirmation at 11 or 12, but if you did not start until later on in life then you would receive it later on. I know in Rachel's case she converted so she will receive her sacraments all at once.
