I wanted to throw this question out there, my FI parents are divorced and do not get along, they dont fight they just dont speak. I am a bit nervous about any unpredictable behavior that might occur over the weekend of our wedding. I wanted to see if you all thought my FI and I should nicely address our concerns??
Also, has anyone been in a situation like this before??

Re: Conflicts in the Family
I have the same issue with my Dad and his looney wife. I'm very nervous about her behavior around my mom and some other family members. I did have a discussion with both of them separately (mom and dad.) I basically ended the conversation with if anyone/anything should upset me that day (re: this) I would ask them to leave.
It made me chuckle that I had to have such conversations with grown adults!
Sorry you have to worry about these things...good luck!

Re: Conflicts in the Family
OK my parents despise each other and they hadn't been in the same room together in MANY years.
I had the same fears for A LOT of reasons. We didn't even have an E-party because of it .
What I did instead was had a 'meet the parents' party everyone came over to my SIL's house and we got together. I made sure the bridal party was there as a buffer, tension was thick I am not going to lie, but it was better for me to have everyone together in one neutral place (very important) this way I knew that they could be somewhat civial. I also told my BM that any drinks my father had were to be majorly watered down so he didn't say anything stupid to my mother (instead he just cursed out my photographer )
I would suggest doing something like this just so that you can relax.
Good luck-- it is sad when parents can't behave for the sake of their children! Mine included
