I don't know what to do, I have 205 guests(after serious cutting) on my list, am I suppose to look for rooms that accommodate that many people or do I look for rooms that accommodate less assuming I'm going to have some regrets?
I'm afraid that I'll get a room that is too big or vice versa too small

Re: Confused
You tell them how many people you are inviting and they help you figure out the percentage that won't come. Hang in there it will all work out.

Re: Confused
I would look for a room that can accomodate that many people or less. You don't want to get a room that can accomodate 175 people and then God forbid you have everyone show up, it would be too tight. I invited 175 people and my RSVP date is today and I've only gotten 5 no's so far. So I'm not going to have the typical '20% no rate'. Better to be safe than sorry.

Re: Confused
One number you have to be careful of is the 'minimum guarantee'. YOu wouldn't want a room that had a minimum of 200, b/c then you'd have to pay for 200 people whether or not they attend.

That's what I thought.....do you think that a room that holds 300 is too big for the amount I'm inviting? And....my next question...would I meet a minimum for that big of a room?
Sorry.......I'm just so confused.....I loved this place...one room hold 180 and the other 300
Thanks girls

That's one of my issues....why is this so complicated, I just want to get married and have a memorable day at a reasonable price.
