Confused about A, B guests lists.

My minimum number of guests required for my RH is 125. I am getting married in late Sept & they need the guest count by early Sept. I really don't want to go over my guest minimum by that much. I am planning on sending out about 135 'A guest' invites probably in early June with an RSVP for early August. My question is are you supposed to order different RSVP cards with a later RSVP date for the 'B guest list? ' I am so confused & I want to ensure that my count is in on time and also that we don't go that much over 125 people. THX

send out the A list ppl first....and for each 'No' that you get from the A list...you can start sending out B list invites.

if you have a 'B' list, you should probably send out the 'A' list invites a little earlier than you normally would...and then as ppl say no, you can send out 'B' list ppl, without them realizing they are on the B list. no need to get a separate RSVP for them at all.

Did you send out save the dates at all? this is why I am doing a save the date because i am hoping to hear feedback if people are not going to make it. If i can shead a few off from the start then I know I can add a few more people before the invites go out.

My family does this all the time - we get a std and if we know we can't make it or know we don't want to go we tell the person asap this way someone else can get invited.

I would send your invites a bit earlier and do a early response date. Print up two batches or if its too expensive to do a second batch (typically printing is cheaper per unit as the qty goes up price per unit goes down) then do a blank rsvp date like please send your responses by ________. Then write them in NICELY. It may help you out.

trust me, 2 yrs. ago i was fuking CLUELESS about EVERYTHING. i thought a bustle was something that happens at the end of the nite when everyone is drunk and you all start fighting!

now i've become quite knowledgeable in the ways of weddings!!!

THis is what I would do, and if you do have an issue with the RSVPs date then you can always go and buy just the rsvp card and print them out yourself
