If my contract for my hall includes at 20% service charge in addition to all the other charges, do I need to give an additional tip the staff at the hall for example the, Maitre'd, staff, bridal attendant, etc.

The 20% doesn't include the Maitre'd or the bridal attendants. I think the usual tip for maitre-d is around $5-$6 per guest and I think most people tip the bridal attendant around $125.

That's what I was told at every RH we visited as well. If the MD is awesome they'll get $6, it they stink, they'll get closer to $2 or 3.

It's true...However you should tip what you're comfortable tipping. I had 150 guests. We tipped $1000 for the MD and staff, plus I gave my bridal attendant $100 just from me. With your number, I would be budgeting $3-5 per guest for MD/staff tips. I would tip your bridal attendant separately, they are a very personal attendant. Some people go and tip bartenders personally ahead of time as well to ensure superior service. It's whatever you want, IMO.

You are correct. Maitre'd and bridal attendant are in addition to the 20% service charge on your contract.

the usual maitre d tip is between $2-$5 pp dependent on service. If service is so-so then I would tip $2-3 pp, if great then go to $5 pp. Only the Bridal attendant and maitre d tip is not included in the service charge.

we were told by RH that the Bridal attendent gets a $25 or $50 tip and the Maitre D gets $2-3 pp
we are going to go by that cause that our RH but check with yours and see what they say.... we are having a 250-300 person wedding as well and $5pp seems a lot to me!
