We had bubbles - not to worry!
I had bubbles and a receiving line at the church. Our receiving line was just parents and us. Our MoH and BM stood across the aisle from us - so to speak and waited for us to be done then we all walked out together for photos on the steps.
While this was going on inside, I gave a pretty wicker basket w/all the bubble bottles to my friend who walked around and distributing them. So by the time we stepped out onto the front steps, the bubbles were everywhere! We took pictures on the front steps and then walked down to the limo.
If you're waiting for the reception hall to hold the receiving line, then maybe the bride and groom could duck into a side room and wait for the guests to leave. I think you have to go and sign the marraige certificate with your MOH and Best Man anyway.
