I would definitely look at it - I heard it's beautiful, which I'm sure it is since it got redone! Good luck!

If you use the search function for the forums for and search 'Larkfield' I remember seeing someone posted pictures of Larkfield post renovation! We were going to look there but we would have had to book prior to seeing what it looked like with the renovations done and I'm way too OCD for that. Good luck with the venue search. Its so exciting and stressful at the same time. Just remember... No matter where your wedding is at the end of your wedding day you'll be married to your fiancé and that's really what matters :)

Thanks for all of the help, ladies - we ended up booking our date today so I unfortunately won't be seeing Larkfield!

Thats a big jump in price. I couldn't afford it but we took a big risk taking pre-construction prices. I wish the ground were finished now.

I have booked my venue Calamiagos Ranch at Nestled in the breathtaking Malibu Mountains. They are helping me in hosting the wedding, rehearsal dinner and engagement party. I am so excited, can't wait for the D day.

Went to Larkfield for a wedding last week... The place is beautiful, looks new but... being a guest I was unhappy with the service and the cocktail hour had barely any seating...

What was wrong with the service?

Not enough seating in cocktail?! Did they have both cocktail rooms open???

What room was the cocktail hour in because the room mine is in has a TON of seating.. but we aren't having a huge wedding... can you explain what you thought about the service?
TIA!

You just opened up a big ol' can of worms for all the Larkfield Brides... and Grooms like me! haha. Enjoy the onslaught of whoever comes by this post.

I, amongst I'm sure all the Larkfield couples, have been in a fairytale land of impeccable Larkfield perfection. The managing staff have been really genuine and nice. The place looks better than anyone expected. Food & Service may be the only things we don't know for sure yet.

So pleasee do tell for our own mental ease. They seem very accomodating to make improvements there day by day. So spit it, where's the beef? (any 80's babies?... no one at Panera understands my references anymore :/ haha)

and Guitars&TikiBars: Where'd you book?! I was kind of excited to hear about your reaction to seeing Larkfield (I know they're amazing, I just like to hear it from other people. Yes, I'm like that cocky mom who loves to hear how great their kid is!)

There shohuld be seating outside and inside. I hope that's not a problem for me...
