Confused... Need advice!

Hi everyone,
I am getting married next March at the George Washington Manor. My banquet manager quoted me a price of $72pp plus tax and gratuity. I just read on this site that someone else was quoted the same price, but the banquet manager (same BM that I am using) told her that the price was 10% LESS for January, February and March. We've put down a down payment, but have not given her the contract back. Do you think I should say something?? It kills me to know that I can save 10% of 125 plates!!
Please give me advice.

I would ask. I would tell her that a friend of yours got quoted a different price, and see what she says.

Thanks. It just bothers me b/c we are paying for everything w/ no help and every penny counts.

Maybe they did that because you're getting married March 30th and that's two days away from April? Who knows? It doesn't hurt to ask.

I would ask-it can't hurt. I understand your pain-we are in the same boat-paying for EVERYTHING.

It never hurts to ask--sometimes they are just waiting for people to ask them for breaks and won't voluntarily give it.

I was thinking the same thing. I think 10% off is for winter months...but after the 21 it is spring so since you're at the end of march i dont think you qualify, you could check but that might be it.

BTW i have seen sooooo many different prices people received at the same RH as me, and people get different deals, it just happens.

i would definatly ask.. can't hurt! BUT if a contract is signed, i wouldnt really think that they would change the price... once they have your signature they have you by the b@lls.... good luck

I'm glad we didn't sign the contract yet!

I would definetly bring it up to the BM. If someone else was quoted a different price for the same month then there is something wrong. Definelty say something before you sign the contract.
