How do I address a family? for instance Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Family? doesn't sound right. Do I just right on the envelope Mr. & Mrs. Smith and on the inside envelope all of their names? i'm confused and want to get this right.

This is what my book says:
Outer: Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Inner: Mr. and Mrs. Smith Sarah, William, Scott, and Diane (from oldest to youngest)

Not always...a lot of people these days write both (I did): Mr. John and Mrs. Donna Smith
