I would say '& guest' just for the invitation.

& Guest is just for the invitation, not the STD.

Re: Confused....Please Help re: STD
I just sent mine out this weekend - I looked at ones I had received and I didn't include 'and guest' if they were not married - since I just thought it's for the person to save the date - I hope I did that right...

I did mine a couple of different ways. For out of state guests that will have to fly in and are looking to buy tickets soon - I put & guest so they can get 2 tickets. For local people, I did not include & guest.

Agreed with above. No '& Guest' on STD's!

Re: Confused....Please Help re: STD
I did not write and guest on our STD envelopes. I thought it would look strange on an outside envelope, so I will do it on the inner envelope of our actual invites.

Re: Confused....Please Help re: STD
That is a good question I have a number of guests from out of town and I was thinking if I don't say and guest that they will be calling and asking because they will want to make their flight arrangements possibly before the invitation goes out. If I don't say and guest won't they assume they are being invited alone?
