Considering the following DJs

Hi everyone,

I'm considering checking out the following DJs and would love to get some feedback. Thanks in advance!

Absolute Entertainment
Tommy's Tunes
Dr. Beat Productions

I used Dr. Beat for my wedding, and they were great. Dance floor packed all night long, and played great music. They stuck to our must play/do not play lists, and took requests as well. My guests keep raving about them.

Not to mention their prices can't be beat.

I had contacted Absolute Entertainment. The sales woman was VERY pushy. I live in NJ and I am planning my long island wedding long distance. I said I was available for meetings over a weekend and the woman told me that the only way they would come in to meet me on a sunday was if I put down a deposit. Why on EARTH would I put down a deposit before even meeting anyone?

Been to many weddings with TT - they are GREAT! We are between them and LI Sound right now. TT is much more affordable, but we're hoping the parentals will help pay the difference!

I am using Tommy's Tunes and I have been so pleased with them so far. Their customer service was amazing, they weren't pushy salespeople and really worked to make our package what we wanted and keep it within our budget. Plus, their prices are incredibly reasonable especially for their extras. I think LI Sound wanted to charge something like $900.00 just to bring the plasma TV's to the event plus extra for the montage and stuff. Tommy's Tunes was like half that and included the tv's and the montage. Definitely check them out. We worked with Steve and were very happy with him.

Using FM Entertainment... my sisters used both of them for DJ and no complaints!

My sister used Tommy Tunes for her wedding and they were great! Great music, great MC, just over all great. Not sure of the price but they kept everyone motivated and on the dance floor the entire night!

I booked LI Sound on the spot. I got a great price and everything I wanted. I got the owner to mc and I see and hear great things about him!

Absolute puts on a pretty good show, but like another bride said, they can be pushy. I've seen Tommy Tunes, and they were good, I'm not familiar with Dr Beat. My personal fave is the one I used, LI Sound. They gave me a better price than Tommy Tunes and Absolute, and I loved them throughout the wedding!

just wanted to recommend v i v o entertainment used them for my wedding and people are still talking about the music...they are located in RVC and were SOOOOOO good went above and beyond want to have another party just so that i can use them
