We've got a subaru forester and couldn't be happier with it!!! They say it's the safest small suv available!

Thanks, Jenn!

It's amazing HOW FAR DOWN the list my Accord is in terms of 'family friendliness', but at least it's in the TOP of its category!

My ONLY fear of having baby #2 is the larger car purchase. I don't want to have to work FT just to pay a car payment!

We have a Hylander and I can tell you that I love it for Molly and us BUT with a second car seat there would be NO room for anyone else in the backseat, except maybe Beemer.

Claud, I don't think the TYPES of cars indicate family friendliness (van, SUV, etc) just the specific make and model in the category. I mean, how can an UPSCALE sedan be better than a FAMILY sedan??

Woohoo Honda Pilot!
We did so much research before we bought and found that it was one of the safest on the road, now its also one of the friendliest!

Thanks for posting...

No, I interpret this as the types, too. I think b/c an upscale sedan is bigger and roomier than a family sedan, and it probably has a TON more user-friendly features. So, it makes sense to me.

Where's the Mustang?

You can definitly fitt a few kids in the back of that.

I had a Mustang about 5 months before I got pregnant with Emma. Darn good thing... there is NO WAY a stroller, diaperbag, car seat would have fit comfortably... although the top down would have helped with her jaundice when she was a newborn

FH and I saw the Eddie Bauer Leather carseat....and he says, when we have kids...he wants that for the back of his mustang! He wants the kid to be cool when he's riding around with daddy!
