Contract

We are probably signing our reception hall contract tomorrow. I'm so clueless - is the menu selection not finalized at contract time? And if I want certain things like a certain napkin fold, should that be in the contract?

TIA!

the menu is done closer tot eh date, but how any selections and courses you get should be in the contract. I don't know about the napkin fold

Re: Contract

Thanks! The napkin fold seems very trivial but I'm adamant about it.

Re: Contract

You won't pick your menu until a months or so before your wedding, but make sure the number of sations, passed hors duerves, entree chioces, etc... is included.
If there's anything soecific you want, just ask them to add it to the contract. You don't want to have to argue later for something you're promised now.

Re: Contract

You choose menu items like 3 months before the wedding...
As for napkin folding & other little things, If they are very important to you, ask them to be added to your contract.
Also anything the hall is 'throwing in,' ice sculpture etc....
Payment Scheduele
Also read the cancelation policy
Can't think of anything else.... Good Luck

Re: Contract

If you want drinks served at entrance,
Chocolate fountain an extra chafing dish. The room you are having and the times. The minimum guranteed. Really anything extra you are getting or they are throwing in! Good Luck

Sarah, if it makes you feel better to write it in the contract then do it. I wrote in a bunch of stuff because I didn't want anyone to 'forget' later.
