Contract question

Contract question

I just realized that my catering hall did not put on our contract the amount per person that I will be paying for the vendors and kids. Which is less than the amount per person I am paying for guests. Should I/Can I go back and add that in?

Re: Contract question

the majority of them will give them to you at half price after your min is stasified... you should inquire and ask and prehaps get it written in an updated contract

you could but its usualy 1/2 price. I am sure once you square off with them at the end ( when they ask for a guarntee of 100 lets says thats on 100 full priced adults)

Fox Hollow is NOW 2/3 for Vendors and Kids. If you're good at neg., they'll still do 1/2.

Yes, I'd go back. Personally I think that you want to have every single penny you're spending written into the contract... unfortunately being trusting can get you in trouble with things like this.

My dad also insists on having all of the details, like how many waiters per table, how often cocktail stations will be replenished, etc written into the contract, because the only way you absolutely guarantee you get what you want is if it's in writing. (And then if you don't get what you want, you have something to point to and make demands with)

The same thing happened w/me. I called them and was told the prices over the phone and they told me to bring my contract in and they'll write it down.

I would get it written in to the contract. Definetly. It is writen at the bottom of my contract. It's better to be safe then sorry.

I hadn't heard of this until after FH and I signed our contract- it's a good idea tho!! FH was 1/3 off ( or 2/3 price!) for vendors for me but I think it's b/c we have such a low price per person...we are going to talk to them when we choose our menu (I asked when we made our last payment). Hopefully we can talk them down! Every little bit helps!
