FH and I booked vendors over a year ago and we added extras that we thought we could afford. Now we feel that we would rather save that money for other things or a house....do you think the vendors will give us a problem if we wanted to take something off or down grade a package on our contracts?

Re: Contract with vendors
I dont think so. Yes, you are in a contract that is binding unfortunately but you arent cancelling their services all together. Give them a call and just explain that due to funds you would like to take some things out. Did you sign your contracts with specific packages or did you just leave a deposit and sign a basic contract?

I don't think your vendors will give you a problem. But I am sure every vendor has a different policy. It never hurts to try.

Re: Contract with vendors
one I did sign with a specific package, the other I added something extra after we signed...that vendor I think will let me take what I added off...the other vendor is a DJ and I don't know if they'll let me down grade...I called them last week and they never called me back! So I'm going to think about what I want to do and call them again this week if I decide to definitely down grade.
