The guys brother was supposed to be at my house at 9 am this morning to work on the demo again. Well they called my DH at 1 pm - his brother didn't show up. I am so pissed I am ready to spit nails!

Nope we cant get someone else we are locked into a contract with him. He hurt his back about a month ago & only started working again last week so he is behind a little which really translates into really behind. My DH says this is how they are and not to get so upset over it. Plus we have given him a deposit so we just have to grin and bare it. BTW way is now 3 pm he is still not at our house!

OMG did he CALL at least?? He should at least call. I would be so mad too, I don't blame you. He shouldn't have taken this job if he couldnt handle it or didn't have time. He should have disclosed that to you when you signed contrat - if he didn't, maybe you can get out of it and get your $ back?

Yeah he called my DH to let him know that his brother messed up. He is on his way and will work into the night to make up the difference. I am so angry but my DH says that this is how they are he listened to his parents for years complain about contractors. They had a lot of work on their house done when he was growing up. So if my DH is not to upset then I will just have to deal with it. I may not be able to keep my mouth closed when I get home though.

My DH was a contractor for 14 years and he would never run his business like this. Horrible. And who wants the guy at your house all night anyway>?
