Contracts for Hair/Makeup Vendor?

DId anyone else have one or have a copy of one that I can follow?

I just want to make sure that both sides are covered...and that if things fall through, I'm covered for the wedding!

Also were there times that you added to the vendor contract because it didn't have everything you need?

I had a very simple contract stating the following:

- Bride's Name & Other Info
- Vendor's Name & Info
- Date of Services
- Type of Services
- Approximate # of people needing services
- Pricing for bride's services
- Pricing for other's services

You do not need to put the time on the contract, but it should be discussed before the big day. There are factors that will be discussed w/the stylist to ensure there is enough time - things like the number of people, if you're getting extensions,e tc....

Thanks...how about stating what if the hair/makeup person becomes ill, will there be a substitue provided, etc...

not sure but probably every vendor has things worded differently in their contract...mine does say that if i cancel i dont get my money back but if they can't make it then i do get my money back, no substitution though

I'd want to include something about a substitute. TBH, if my vendor didn't show or cancelled last minute I wouldn't be happy with just getting my money back. I'd want them to find someone else who was available on my day and give me the option of booking them.

she does freelance so not like she has others working for her she can send. ALTHOUGH if the make up artist doesnt show her sister does do both hair and make up and used to do both herself for weddings so she can do it, and i did hear maureen is also good with hair in case her sister doesn't show up lol...if they both don't show up then the ppl my mom works with will have to be called in for an emergency
