convertible bridesmaid dress

Is anyone using these for their girls? I really like the idea because then they girls can use them over again! I was thinking about using them but I wasn't sure if they were going to be ok for my bigger busted girls.

TIA!!

I love the idea of these dresses too, but I barely considered them for this very reason. As a fairly well-endowed girl myself, I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable in them. Most of the ways you would wear these dresses would require either a strapless or no bra at all. Instead, I am letting my girls choose any style dress in a specific color and material from the same group of designers, the Dessy Group (Dessy, After Six, Lela Rose, etc).

I'll be honest with you...I've seen two weddings where the girls wore these. They just aren't flattering. If you have all flat chested girls I say go for it. It makes your boobs look really odd and if someone wanted me to wear one I'd be really embarrassed about how I looked. But I mean go to a bridal salon and see what the options are. The ones I saw the girls were def not wearing a bra but this was a couple years ago so I don't know if there are other things they can do to help now.

My girls are wearing convertible dresses! They absolutely love them. Cheaper, rewearable and no alterations. I'm big chested myself and ive worn the dress myself 4 times. I wore it TWOTY actually and changed it every hour. I only wore it strapless 1 time. There are sooo many possibilities with the dress. The dresses are black so I told the girls a black strapless or convertible bra and boobie tape makes this dress go a looong way!
I could post pix if u want....

ETA I can't go braless but many ways will cover a strapless bra. Once I did wear it backless and I actually boobie taped cups on and they stayed in place all night. (I took the cups out of a bridesmaid dress I had worn)

That's awesome to know, because I really want to do this. Maybe I'll buy one for myself just to test it out. Where did you get yours?

That's what i did and i keep wearing it. i got them from victorias secret. I waited for a sale and bought them all. with shipping and tax the dress came out to $62 in the end

Good idea! I contacted all my girls and asked them to send me pics of dresses they like since I have no real idea of what I want them in. I will have to chech out that site. Thanks!

Our weddings are a few weeks apart (you're actually getting married on our dating anniversary. We tried to have ours on the 12th but the church couldnt book bc of confirmations. wah) and I haven't gone to try anything on yet. I have a pretty good idea of which dresses I would like to try on and where to go. One problem is there are three dresses from a certain designer that are from the 2013 line and no trunk shows for me to attend this summer. I work in fashion , but I have no idea how the bridal market works and when those dresses are supposed to be in stores.

This IS really good to know because I ruled them out for that reason.
I'm not sure if VS even has them anymore, I checked... but someone said on here Dessy has them or something like that.
