My friend is having a problem converting her guest list from Excel into Word so she can print the labels.
Did anyone do this, and do you have any suggestions on how she can do this without retyping the entire list.

Re: Converting Excel to Word
You can do a mail merge to labels in Word using an Excel spreadsheet it is pretty simple. I had all my addresses in Excel and did my invites and labels for tons of things that way. Let me see if I can get you some quick instructions.

Re: Converting Excel to Word
In Word (I am using Word 2000 - should be similar in older versions): Tools- Mail Merge-Use the Wizard as Prompted.
Main Document - select Create-Mailing Labels-New Window Get Data Source-Open Data Source-Navigate to Excel Doc
Then it should lead you most of the way - Let me know if your friend has more questions.

Re: Converting Excel to Word
Using File-Open in Word and changing file type to Excel - will allow you to bring the document into Word -- not sure about how the formatting or usability will be. (There is a checkbox for format for mail merge)
