cookies

So I'm really excited b/c my best friend and I just finished making the favors for her engagement party and they came out AWESOME. We filled mason jars with the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies, hot glued fabric to the tops and tied a bow around the top (we also hot glued small daisies into the center of the bow). We then used mounting adhesive and glued the ingredients for love poem to the fronts of the jars, with their names and the date of the party. They came out beautiful. I will post a pic as soon as I get one!

btw-I loved this idea b/c who doesn't eat cookies???? LOL

That sounds great!! I actually don't eat choco chip cookies but I love making them...LOL

I'm so jealous. I wanted to do those as favors for the wedding, but my mother and FH said it was too 'domestic' for a black tie wedding. I told him about am470's strawberry rhubarb pies and he said, 'That's different because you just eat them, there's no cooking involved.' I just can't win!

Sounds yummy! All of a sudden I have a craving for cookies......
