Cooking Question

Ok so I never used a crockpot before, but I was wondering, can you have it plugged in with the timer on and leave the house while it's cooking? I want to use it but don't want to be in the house for 8 hours today TIA!

no worries! set it and forget it! crock pots are relatively low temp, it's not like leaving your oven on all day or anything. perfectly safe! Also, if you have more time, the longer it runs and lower the temp, the better! (depending on the dish). HTH!
