I have no idea what kind of cookware to put on my registry, what are you gals registering for?
ETA: DO you think it would be better to register for the whole set or get individual pieces because it's more likely for people to afford that?

Re: Cookware
I registered for Calphalon. I LOVE to cook, so I wanted a good set. But to me All Clad is for the professionals...so I figured Calphalon was just one step down....not professional, but not for the beginner cook either.
Here's the set I registered for (FH's parents bought them for us):
I registerd for Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 12-Piece Set and then added some things I wanted from other sets.

Re: Cookware
I registered for the All Clad stainless steel pots and pans. But I didn't get a set, I registered for them individually so people can pick and choose what they want to buy. My brother has the same set and he loves it. And I already have the wok which is awesome. It heats up quick and cleans easily. It's just a little heavy

Re: Cookware
we currently have calphalon non stick. we don't need many more sizes so we will probally register for the same brand. they are very easy to clean & even come out great in the dishwasher.
we also have 2 Le Creuset cast iron pans. they r very expensive. about $100 + each, but worth the price.

Re: Cookware
We registered for Calphalon tri ply stainless steel 13pc set and added a few separate pans as well. We do tons of cooking.
We have currently the Macy's tools of the trade anodized aluminum pans and pots. We've used them for 1.5years and the two we use most often need to be replaced all ready so I suggest not to get the cheaper 'starter sets'

Re: Cookware
What about Emeril's line? FH's stepmom bought it and said that it is made by All-Clad but cheaper because its under his name and he appeals to us middle class folk. Is it exactly the same?

ETA: Even if you put the whole set on, several people can all chip in together to buy it for you.
I'm pretty sure this is what I am getting..lol it all looks alike to me

I think that a $600 dollar pot set if I put that down people would say something. Maybe I'll just register for individual pieces. There's nothing wrong with that right?
