thank everone! i'm a total picture freak and i love this stuff!

michele, That is so cool, we wanted pics with the black and white and color accents, but it was an extra 75-100.can you print them out yourself or do you need to orderthem ?

hey steph! i've printed a bunch of them and they come out perfect (i have some 8 x 10's)and i'm waiting for snapfish to deliver some more. you can print as big as u want. do you have digital pics or film? if u have digital then u can email me some pics and i'll do whatever u want me to to them and i'll email them back. or i can give the program to ali and she can give it to u. it isn't too easy to do, it took me a while to be able to come up with anything nice looking. there is still so much i probably don't know that i could to still. but if u play around with it then you'll have no problem. if u have film, then you'll just have to scan the pics first.

Thanks michele, shawn actually just downloaded a version for me. I am having sucha hard time with it. I love the black and white ones with the added color of the flowers. I have to wait for shawn to hook up my scanner so i am fooling around with some digitals right. Any tips would be very usefull.

it took me a while to get it too. i used the magnetic lasso to outine things (slowly and sometimes in sections to make it easier) and then i take the color out or replace it(enhance, adjust color, ...). i also zoom in and out to make it easier. it just takes some trial and error.

ladies... sorry to intrude, but there's an easier way to do the BW and color than the magnetic lasso open your file, then duplicate its layer into a new file so that you have the same image open in two windows.... in one picture, change the Image Mode to Grayscale.... then drag that layer over to the color window, so all you see is black and white image.... then use the Eraser tool to erase the area that you want to be color.... and voila! it erases the black and white, leaving your colored highlights below

Very nice! So are you taking digital pics and then printing them through an online company? Luckily, this is included with my photography...

The only error I found was in the pic of your hubby dancing (the second one) I think one of his hands is still in B&W- not to be picky-just so you can fix it!!

Great job I know this can be tricky!!!
