Re: coral house
Hello, I had my wedding at the Coral House and had an amazing day!!! Here is my review, fm me if you have any questions:
Coral House – A++++++++++++. Well I have to say it is not easy going on to LI Weddings and hearing your reception hall being bashed, but I have not one regret about the Coral House. When DH and I looked at reception halls (and we looked at 20+) we knew we wanted a place with good food, good ambiance and we ultimately decided that we were going to have a big wedding (We had 240 but we invited 360) and so price was somewhat of a factor. Well Kristin Ruddy made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. She gave us a tasting right there on the spot, and we loved the food. DH fell in love with the place, but I was still torn with other places that we looked at that had the pretty chandeliers and décor. We decided on the Coral House when my mother pointed out that people will remember the food, the music and the personal touches of the day not the chandeliers on the ceiling. Well I was thrilled when the Coral House redecorated a bit, and they updated their menu a bit. I cried I was so happy and from that moment I was confident! Kristin was a dream to work with, two days before the wedding I had to drop off all of our stuff for the wedding and the numbers and tables. I was a bit stressed to say the least and so you can imagine how I reacted when I realized about 5 minutes away from the Coral House that I forgot the seating chart. I had a copy of where everyone was sitting but it did not include how many favors to include on the table. This is when DH and I met with Steve who worked with Kristin. He was so incredible, he made me feel at ease and helped me out with the count. He helped DH with lugging all of the favors, bathroom baskets and wedding stuff that we had. He made DH and I laugh and offered to feed us, he was great. He was also there the night of the wedding. The night of the wedding the Coral House blew away my expectations. It has been 3 months since my wedding and I am still getting compliments from people about the food. I have been told by several people that ours was the best wedding that they had been to and they were so impressed with the Coral House. They even gave my uncle seconds and a doggie bag to take his food home. I did not eat much that day, but when DH fed me the cake I was in heaven! It was excellent! This was by far our best vendor and for all of you Coral House Brides you have nothing to worry about, your day will be beautiful!!

Re: coral house
I don't know if this helps but I really like the Coral house, the cocktail hour menu/ setup was really cool, it was between the Coral House and the Swan Club.. we went with the Swan Club but I really like Coral House as well. I have friends and family who have been there and they told me the food is really good!

Re: coral house
My brother just had his wedding there on November 18th and I was very impressed!! They set up a station of coffee and cookies in the lobby for those that arrived early which I thought was really nice. I didn't get to eat much cocktail hour food b/c I was mingling and taking family photos but the dinner was very good...actually my sister had some sort of mustard chicken which I thought was the best chicken dish I had ever tasted
All in all it was a really nice time and my dh and I both agreed that the wedding cake was the best either one of us had ever had! The viennese was incredible as well!! Good luck!

Re: coral house
Had a tasting there and the food was GREAT and the banquet manager was honest, laid back, and very flexible with prices!!!
We were going to book there as well, but I fell in love with the square shape of another room.
