Coral House--finalized dinner, linens....

We went to CH today and finalized everything.
I think planning this eparty and the whole wedding has made me such a wimp! I almost started crying right before we walked out!
Geez... I am so much more emotional.

Anyway, just letting all of you CH brides know it was a breeze. Kristen is a doll to work with. A couple of items we kept going back and forth on, taking out, adding in, and I felt uncomfortable talking to FH about it in front of her. I guess she sensed that and said she would be right back.
We also gave them an additional payment just so that we won't have to cough up so much money the week of the party.
We changed our menu to buffet style to allow people to mingle more and be able to get something to eat on their own time. Hopefully they will be cutting the rug more than stuffing their faces!!
AND they make my favorite drinks... Cosmos and apple martinis!! I made sure to ask this question b/c a couple of reception halls didn't serve these drinks and they are reputable places.
We didn't want to have the 'cake cutting' thing going. So she suggested just serving the dessert/cake after the buffet has been closed. So no cake cutting, no announcement its cake time. Just serve and move on. Which is perfect for us. We didn't want to make a huge stink over the cake anyways.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

FH & I chose our menu already from the papers they gave us but we will finalize it there.

Everytime I had to call there, they have been nothing but super nice & helpful to me.

We had a tasting a while back. Rather my mom, FH and my aunt did. They stuffed their faces while I sat there and ate pasta! Yippee!! I don’t eat meat. The slobs loved the london broil and chicken with mustard sauce. Kristen said chicken teriyaki is delicious so we took her suggestion.

We are having the London Broil, chicken with pommery mustard sauce, chicken teriyaki, paella w/ mixed seafood, and mussels/clams/calamari marinara.
For cold stations we are having Frutti de Mare, Mozzarella w/ tomato, basil olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, fresh fruit arrangement, chef salad, tri-color pasta
For pasta we chose the heart shaped past with pomodoro sauce and fresh basil.
For hors d’ouevres we chose baked clams, sesame chicken fingers, brushetta, crablegs wrapped in bacon, fried mozzarella wedges and mini franks.
I think that covers it for the food.

I will give a full review in about 3 weeks!! AAAHH
