Is it necessary to give a corsage/boutinniere to either the bride or grooms Godparents for the wedding? The grooms mom says it's 'etiquette' but I wasnt sure. Thanks.

Neither of us have grandparents - so we will be giving corsages to our godparents. Only our Godmothers are alive though...so we just have two extras.

we did not ~ we do have godparents but both sets were not 'prodominent figures' in our lives ~ always there for us growing up birthdays, holidays etc ~ so we chose not to...if they were more involved in our lives I definately would have honored them with corsage/boutinnere's....

I am giving to our Godmothers but they are also doing the readings. I am not giving to Godfathers.
