Re: corsages for grandmothers
I personally think it'd be a nice touch but if you simply can't afford then you can't afford it. But if you can, I think it'll make them feel great.

Re: corsages for grandmothers
they are included in my package with the florist maybe speak to your florist about adding a couple in and he might give you a good deal.

It shouldn't cost that much for a corsage. I'm getting one for the grandmothers.

Neither one of our grandmothers is still alive, but we got corsages for the aunts and I think they were around $2-$3 each.

Re: corsages for grandmothers
Our corsages were definitely not $50 each and we had an expensive florist. Most are like $15. I would do them, it's nice to recognize the grandmother/s. Not everyone has them, kwim? If your wedding florist is trying to charge you $50, I would just have a local florist make a very simple, inexpensive corsage.

Re: corsages for grandmothers
it's more than the centerpieces!!! i've been quoted between 165 - 225 for my bouquet!!!
i've flirting with the idea of buying the centerpieces and diy'ing the bouquets (only 2 bridesmaids), 4 boutonnieres and the corsages. i'm being qouted $400 for these things...

Re: corsages for grandmothers
i'm close to my grandma (& FI w/ his too) so a corsage for them is a must.
the $50 a piece is pretty high though! i would shop around more or haggle to lower that price.

Re: corsages for grandmothers
I know my corsage don't cost anywhere near that. I'm definitely getting one for my grandmother. I almost cut back on it, but realized that it's just a couple of bucks more for the woman that raised me.
