If your gown already has a built in corset (2-3 straps that buckle inside of the dress before you zip it up), are you just getting the cups put in or are you still buying an additional corset. What would be the pros and cons in the situation? TIA

Hmmm. I'm not sure if I am getting a corset or not, but here is what I think are the pros and cons.
The biggest pro for me is that they look so nice in the 'getting ready' pictures. Also, I guess a corset will smooth you out and slim you down and also give the boobs a little lift.
The only con I can think of is that it is just plain uncomfortable. And unless you are lumpy and bumpy, which you are not, you may not really need it or see much of a difference.

well thank you for the lumpy and bumpy comment :) I just dont know if I want all those layers but I have to know before I go for my fitting. I am debating to buy one and try the dress on with and without!!!!!!!!

I had only cups sewn in....a second corset would make the dress unbearably uncomfortable. The corset material is alsready stiffer than the rest of the dress.
