corset back dresses

Girls who wore a corset back dress, did it loosen throughout the reception? I'm debating between corset back and zipper with the decorative buttons...help please

My MOH got a 'lesson' from the seamstress on how to lace my corset correctly, and it stayed perfectly all night!

Mine didn't loosen, but they did suggest we check it regularly in case.

Mine didn't budge either, held me all in very well!! I think as long as it's tied correctly you'll be fine.

ok as a zipper/button back girl...there were times when i was stressing that my dress would'nt fit & i had wished i had gotten a corset back for that very reason! haha...thank god it fit perfectly...but man the stress about a pound or two in the weeks before...just a thought!

nope not at all- though it definitely could have been tighter! It still bugs me in pics that it didn't quite have the look it was supposed to have. You're not supposed to be able to breathe if it's tied correctly! I had plenty of room to breathe AND eat!

I agree......I would do a corset back for this reason. I was a WRECK the week before my wedding thinking the dress might not fit

Mine stayed perfect all night. I had actually gained 5 pounds in the weeks before my wedding and the dress still fit perfectly. I'm so glad I didn't have a zipper. Who knows if it would have fit then.
