Cosmetic Dentistry

Has anyone had a good experience with cosmetic dentistry? I'm looking for some recommendations that aren't too far from queens. I need either braces or invisilgn and possibly veneers.

I have a crossbite, and sometimes they can fix it with braces and sometimes you need surgery, which I def. don't want. But I'd like to go to somebody who can actually give me some advice.

I went somewhere yesterday and this place was a horror! They had 3 chairs right next to eachother in one room about two feet apart...working on all 3 patients with their mouths open!!! Needless to say I'm not going back there. I am so upset though because I had high hopes and had to wait a month for an appt. I know this stuff takes time and I wanted to see some sorta progess before the wedding!!

Any recommendations would help!!!

Re: Cosmetic Dentistry

hey

well invisalign is a slower process- at least for me-- i've had braces during middle school, stopped using the retainer and some teeth shifted...i've been using invisalign for about a year and you change the aligners every 2 weeks. My last aligner is scheduled for June 19, and it's waaay close to my wedding. I also didn't expect it to be this long and my teeth weren't even crooked, just like 3 I wasn't completely happy with. If you don't mind the time frame then they are good b/c they are discrete.

Thank you!!

I don't think they'll be anywhere near done for my wedding but I figured at least they'd be in the process and I can always take them off for the day or they'd be less noticible.

Re: Cosmetic Dentistry

there are a lot of girls at my work that used a Dr. in Queens I believe, if not then it was Great Neck/Northern Blvd. I don't know his name though..i'm sorry

but many dentists do go and some insurance cover 500-1000 of it, depending on your ins. company
