Does anyone know of anywhere really nice to take photos in Nassau that does not charge a crazy fee. I checked out Westbury Gardens of course, and Sands Point Preserve and Clarke Gardens and they are all over $200. I am not a Nassau resident so I know the permit fee will be $100 but I think the fees that these places are tacking on are nuts. Helpp...anyone??
Btw- in back of my chapel, it has very nice grounds but no flowers or bridges, just nice greenery and trees so its not that big of a deal but still when you pay so much for photography its a shame to not have the perfect place.

I just found that planting fields is pretty cheap...if anyone has photos thatd be great. But more ideas are very welcomeee

I posted about the very same dilemma today on the 2010 boards - please FM me if you get any great advice. The Planting Fields seems nice - I totally agree about spending $$ on photography, it should be worth it!! Our RH has an outdoor space too, but its very artificial. Sorry - this doesn't help at all, but at least I can relate!!

planting fields are beautiful, just have to be careful if it rains and when you are getting married. its a state park, so a lot of people can potentially be there, and coe hall (which is the main place with arches) is having an exhibit from this may through for like 10 months!! i'm still debating.... but its GORGEOUS!

i got married april 08 and we had our pictures at planting fields - omg that place was beautiful!!!! we paid $120 here is a link to my pro pics - mid way are all the pictures from the park - breathtaking! pro pics slide show
