I got my hair done for my wedding at Nubest & Co. in Manhasset - the trial and hair on the day of the wedding was $70 and my hair came out amazing! If you are intereasted in going to a salon, I highly recommend them!

I had 2 trials done and ended up picking the 2nd person
1st trial- she charges $150 hair and makeup trial and the day itself almost $400
2nd trial- makeup-$40 for trial $75 for day of wedding & hair- $75 trial and $100 for day of wedding (only downfall BP & I will have to go to salon on day of wedding- no biggie)

$125 is a lot for a trial!!!!! I was unhappy about paying $70 for my hair trial but I would never do $125- that is what they should charge for the wedding day!

Tanbride, I would like more information on Nubest. Who did you use there? did they also do your make-up? Did you also go for a trial with them, or is that your usual stylist?

I'm actually not sure if my trial price is different than the day of price (I have to check with my salon). I know for up-do's they charge $60.00 and up (depending on length and thickness of hair). My hair is long so I'll probably end up paying around $100.00.
