we bought our house from 3 contractors. they are redoing the inside of the house completely. they agreed to paint all of the room except 2 of them. since new carpeting will be put in all the rooms, we dont want to paint after the carpets are done. anyway, we decided just to pay them to do the two rooms, how much do you think i should offer or accept? kepp in mind that we are supplying all the paint for all the rooms

Re: cost for painting 2 small rooms?
how small are the rooms?
do they need to prime the walls 1st? or are they just doing 1 or 2 coats of paint?
i would say $100 or so since you are supplying the paint.

THEY ALREADY PRIMED AND PAINTED THESE ROOMS WHITE EARLIER, WHICH IS WHY THEY AREN'T PAINTING THEM THE COLORS WE WANT. THEY ARE SMALL ROOMS. WE OFFERED THEM $100 BUT I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT I DIDNT OVER OFFER AND RIPPED OFF

$100 sounds low to me so I think if they agree to $100, then you should grab it! Knowing what painters charge (a bundle!), that's a steal!

$100 is a great price for hiring professionals. Well worth it in my opinion.
