hi i am new here.. this is the first time i am writing somethin and hopefuly i did it right. i wanted to know what the approximate price range is for a dj. i know it depends on the dj but i would like to have an idea.

steel drum for cocktail hour, dj/MC, percussionist and intelligent lighting approx. $2200. This is on the high end though.

Hi and welcome!!!! Depending on what you want from a DJ, price really varies. Do you want an mc? Do you want lights? Giveaways? I've seen prices range from $800-$2500.

We paid $1200 for: DJ, MC, lights, giveaways and costumes for my guests to wear during the playing of certain songs.

I am paying 850 for a basic package (5 hours of music, nothing cheesy, no giveaways, etc)

$1500 for DJ, MC, 'Voice Impressionist' (sounds exactly like Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin....that era). No lights or giveaways (who actually keeps that stuff?). And they did the wedding for the girl who plays Meadow Soprano! (having a brainless moment and can't remember her name) Really cool photo montage of it in their lobby!
