Cost of a DJ???

Cost of a DJ???

I am trying to figure out what a typical dj is going to cost us. We are having a 1 man steel drum band for cocktail hour and I know that will be additional but 1 dj and 1 mc for a 4 hour reception with a percussionist...

Any ideas?

Oh and a video montage.

the cheapest i found was afterhours. i would def look into them. and they are amazing!

We have a steel drummer for CH, DJ + MC + percussionist for 4 reception, plasmas, and lighting stuff for $4000 from LI Sound. Not the cheapest around but they are worth EVERY PENNY!!! We just had a 1 man DJ/MC combo for our eparty and they rocked from beginning to end!!!

I've seen as low as $2000 but that's a pretty basic package (it's all the add ons like lights, muscians and props that get yah!)

We booked with Body Rock and it was $1700 for a basic package and I think an additional $800 for the percussionist though they offered us the percussionist for $605 since they are a preferred vendor at our venue. They will actually be performing at a showcase at Jericho Terrace next Wednesday if you'd like to see them!

Well we booked with After Hours tonight and got an amazing deal. The price list we had was the old one as their prices just went up and he even gave us another 800 dollars off... so I am a very happy person right now.
