Cost of Alterations

I bought my dress recently and they will be charging me $250 for alterations and $150 for the bustle. Is that standard pricing across the industry? I had no idea what the going rate was, so I felt really incabable of making a good bargaining point.

everyone charges differently. My alterations cap at $300

does that include the bustle fee?
i had no idea there was such a thing till i ordered my dress.

yes, that includes the bustle. She did say if it was a lot of alterations she'd charge more but I don't think that will happen
