The cost for alterations is capped at $350 (at this point, assuming going to be charged full 350, cause who cuts a break in all this wedding stuff?) The cost to bustle the dress is $125. The cost per point of the bustle is $25.
So my total will be $500 (350+150) + number of points (assume 5, which is what I have in my head for some reason) and the total cost of alterations is ....$625
This seems so high to me. But is this in line with what everyone is being charged?

My cap for alterations is $250.
And its 10/point for regular bustle. 15 for a french bustle.

I had no cap and my alterations came to $325- my bustle is $55 and I am also putting a corset in the back.
