Some salons will tell or give you a range of what the gowns cost. You may get fortunate and have a salon actually give you a definite price.
Most will not give you a definite price over the phone. I did however get a definite price from Lillette's when they knew I wanted to order from them but also wanted to price shop. They've been very accommodating.

i got general price ranges....however, when i was calling about BM, i got a ton of prices over the phone.
a lot of the ones that i called did. some gave me prices for a dress i was looking for, they didn't carry it but they told me over the phone, 'we can get it for you for this price'.
my experience has been yes!
I don't think most places will give a specific price, I think they would say something for ex: 'All of our (insert designers name) range from soandso to soandso'
