Please tell me how much you paid for your DJ and what your package entails! TIA!

It really all depends on what you want. Do you want 1 dj/mc or 2 guys? Do you want lighting? Also it is important to check them out personally bc so many DJ's have a different styles. Do you and FH like high energy, or low?

I won stuff from my DJ so I got a really good deal. They are great though if you want to check them out. It is Tommy Tunes... they arn't the cheapest but also not the most expensive I saw. They are really good though I have been to many weddings where the dance floor was packed all night.

I agree. Have an idea of what you want before you go in there. Like Shauna said..

DJ/MC combo or 1 DJ and 1 MC
light show?
uplighting?
live musicians (drums, sax, pianist, singer etc)
giveaways
montage
plasma screens
zap shots
dry ice
strobe lights
yeaaah... i THINK thats it

Check out High Energy and ask for Ralph. He reallu worked out a great feal for us so we could get everything we wanted despite our tight budget.

Really we just want Ceremony/CH/Reception music, possibly a DJ and an MC and someone who will really sit down and make a plan about reception music with us. I don't know a thing about any of that lighting but we're not fussy and we're also having an afternoon wedding so I'm assuming we wouldn't really need it anyway.

Honestly I'm not even particularly aware of what exactly DJs offer...it'd probably be good to know before I go in to meet with them and they try to sell me everything under the moon.
