I spent about $1.50 each. I got wine glass on sale at Ikea and am filling them with pink and white candies. They have a ribbon around them with our names and wedding date on them. The ribbons were about 25.00 for 120 of them and the candy was not expensive ( I don't remember the exact cost. )

About how long ago did you get the wine glasses? I've been looking for wine glasses myself because we're thinking about giving them with wine stoppers but I really haven't found them that good of a price anywhere!!

Re: Amount???

I think I'm going to make my own favors...how do you all determine how many to buy/make before you get your final guest count?

Also do I give one favor per guest or per couple?

Thanks,

Re: Amount???

I am giving one per invite, but the count won't be in until August 25, and I can get a few dollars off my favors if I get them by the end of May.

My minimum is 150 and I invited 222...I went through my list and tried to get an idea of people who definitely WOULD NOT come...then I ordered from there...180...if I go over, I'll run out and get something nice for the parents tables...

I am giving one per person

I got the wine glasses about 3 months ago at I kea but I know they are still the same price. They were 6 glasses for $4.00. Great price! And they had different styles. They had the 7oz glasses, the 5 oz glasses, and flutes (the tall skinny champagne ones). They price was great considering we needed to buy so many. I don't think they were on sale, I think that is there regular price.

I am spending $3.50 per person. Getting maple syrup in maple leaf bottles. We have a fall theme for September.

I think I spent about $2.50 per favor (pewter picture frames with little rhinestones around the frame). I am giving one per couple. :)

I'm making my own favors, so it's basically costing me for the supplies. I'm doing white chocolate heart boxes with a silouhette of a bride and groom on cover and 3-4 milk chocolate truffles inside. Wrapping them in a nice see thru cellpphane bag and tying it with tulle, ribbon and string of pearls. One for each invite.
