Re: Cost of Favors
I did brass Chrysler Buildings and CDs. We didn't wrap either since both complimented the decor. The ornaments were $1.50 each on huge sale and the CDs were probably about $1 each. This is one area I was prepared to pay a lot more for but found some good stuff for cheap.

Re: Cost of Favors
I spent about $5 per favor and I made them (decoupaged votive holders) but when everything added up (the bags, the yankee candles with our personalized label, the leaves on the outside), it was much more than I anticipated.

Re: Cost of Favors
We bought personalized wine bottles (full size) from Pindar - we ended up paying more than budgted, about $8-9 each when all is said and done, but we really wanted to give something people might use

Re: Cost of Favors
Depends on where you go and what you are looking for. I've found some things I really liked at Simply Elegant (www.simplyelegantny.com - I also got my invites there) and depending on what I finally decide on, she can do it for between $3 and $5. She has some stuff more expensive and less expensive, it all depends on what you are looking for.Plus, I was originally doing one per person, but have done some research and found that favors only need to be given one per couple, so that is what we are doing and it saves ALOT of money.

Re: Cost of Favors
I am doing wine stoppers. It is a large silver heart with the black stopper part. I love them!! They are about $5.40 each. They will give me a discount of 15% if I buy 50 or more. I am getting them from Fantasyland in Patchouge. But, I am still going to look around a little to see if I can get a better price.

Re: Cost of Favors
I am giving wedidng scrolls attached to a bag of m&m's in an organza bag. The scroll will read that we made a donation to a charity in lieu of a traditional favor. I'm probably going to spend $2-$3 per person.

Re: Cost of Favors
I'm planning on spending about $5-$6 each when all is said and done. Unless, I find something a little less expensive beforehand.

Re: Cost of Favors
I am doing dove ornaments that have pine tree seeds in them. I bought the ornaments separate and created a table tent like card to attach them to and inside are the planting instructions and our thank you greeting....$1.50 for everything (ornament, paper, printing)

Re: Cost of Favors
I got candle holders from Yankee Candle clearance for $1.13 each (from $4.50) and then found small pillars for 2 for $1 at candlemart.commy mom found some great ribbon for about $.50 a yard (1 1/2' sheer ribbon) we tied onto the holders
so all in all...$2.13 a piece!
not on sale...it would have been $7.50 each

Re: Cost of Favors
We are doing 2 things little place card chairs(1.75 each) and crystal ice buckets with wrapping & custom ribbon (9.00 each) 1 per couple. Fi also ordered cigars with custom cigar bands with our name & date for the guys, they were about $3.00 each.My favor bugdet is pretty big-my original favor idea was about the same, but seemed small for what I was spending.
Sounds like everyone is coming up with great uniquie ideas.
