The wedding invites I like are going to cost around $7 each. This includes printed return envelopes, rsvp cards, printed directional cards, postage for response cards, and printed envelopes...pretty much everything I would need for about $7...so all in all my invtes, including postage would be about $900. Is that ridiculously expensive?? or just about right? The invites are from smashingcards.com... I'm so confused!!

lol...in my opinion..yes. I cant see myself spending tha tmuch money on invites....but thats just my opinion. Everyone is different.

Invites can get quite expensive. I couldn't bring myself to spending that kind of money for invites so I decided to DIY them. This is definatley a place where I saved some $$ to be spend on something else. JMHO

Wow, JMO but a little expensive. When i was looking around it seemed $4-$5 was the avg. that was out of my budget, so I bought pocket folders and am making them myself.

Mine were about 6.50 each before postage. So 7.50 each after. Its expensive, but so is everything else in a wedding.
There are cheaper invites out there, but I just mine.

ours are in the 700-800 range. we got the checkboard ones with the satin ribbon tied in a know towards the top (they are actually on page 4 of the 'green theme' thread!)
no reception cards, but response cards and enevelopes, and accomodation cards. we still need to pay for a calligrapher on top of that!
