What have you found to be the average cost of postage for sending out invites?
We are updating our budget, and I realize that this is something I did not yet account for.

square pocketfold invites...1.08 outer plus the .44 RSVP - we spent 150 for 100 invites

ours were $1.28 each plus the $0.44 for the return

We were lucky ... We got them for .61 cents despite their size and weight and then .44 cents for the rsvp card.

I actually work for the post office =) Most I have seen have been 61 cents but you have to keep in mind the size (square envelopes cost more) and whether of not there are any accessories on the invite (ex. bows) These things drive up the price. Your basic rectangular invite with rsvp cards inside will cost you 61 cents. and then 44 cents for the rsvp envelopes
