We just were there about 2-3 weeks ago. The price for a Saturday night wedding in October was $175. We wanted the Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend in 2010 and it was $145. It is a beautiful venue but it was just too expensive for us. We loved Maureen the banquet manager, though, she is great!

$175 for a Saturday night in October?? I am looking to get married in October 2010 and absolutely LOVE the Woodlands (haven't looked at it yet though). $175 is VERY expensive...I thought that it would be about $145-$150 for a Sat night wedding in Oct. Does anyone know how much the Woodlands would cost for a Friday night in September, October or November?? Thanks!

One more question about the cost...does the $175 include tax & gratuity? or is that before tax and gratuity?
Also...does anyone know the cost for an August wedding at the Woodlands (either Friday or Saturday)? That is another month that I'm considering.

i just booked the woodlands for nov. 2009 and was told a sat. night runs $160/pp, not including tax and gratuity. i think they have 2 weddings on saturdays, an afternoon and evening. we chose to do an 'off' day, thanksgiving eve, and we're paying a lot less! if you love the woodlands maybe look for a day like columbus day weekend (that monday) or another holiday weekend.

Thanks so much. I didn't realize that the cost was that high. I have looked at previous RH Quote threads and never saw any Woodlands quotes that high. I will look into potentially booking around a holiday to help save money. Do you know if August would be less money than October or November??

With this economy places may be altering their prices..its worth looking into

That's high, in my opinion. We did not pay that much.... we are having a sunday wedding before a holiday. I would try to negotiate as much as you can.

I was quoted $135 (basic package - no upgrades - not incl. tax&grat) for a saturday evening in April. I'm shocked to learn how much it would have gobe up if I booked October!
Febraury is going to be less than other months...take my word for it. i got quoted almost half at all the places I called and went to. i would check Woodlands out anyway....you may get a really good deal!

I looked at the Woodlands for October 2009 and I think it was $140 for a Friday and $160 for a Saturday. We were told that Sept and October have become really popular months so they might be more expensive.
We booked at the Royalton for around the same price but it includes so much more. The venues are very similar except the Royalton is brighter which my fiance likes.

The Woodlands is a little different in terms of getting a great deal in the winter months because it is so charming with fireplaces etc that they continue to have high demand for events so it may still be high no matter what time of year. I'd try for a Friday or like some of the other ladies suggested a holiday weekend etc. Good luck.

wow, the prices have really gone up!
we paid 100pp for a Sat night in Nov 2007, after some negotiating. We did book it only 9 months before the wedding, so maybe they just were happy to book the date. but it's definitely worth negotiating, no prices are set in stone

They are pricey - May Friday pm $125 Sat pm $140
June Friday pm $130 Sat pm $150
July - Oct Friday pm $140 Sat pm $160
Plus tax and gratuity Saturday pm minimum 175 guests
