Not including the cost of the reception hall, how much does everything else cost on average? Like the flowers, the band, the limo, the dress, the fotos and video..etc. I know this varies greatly but basically i am asking if you can get everthing for $20,000? Is this realistic? thanx!

I think we would all like to think we can spend a smaller amount than we actually are. Unfortunately, people hear weddings and it seems as though the prices go up!
Set a budget and TRY to stick to it!
This site can be a useful tool in finding vendors and getting great prices!

We budgeted all of the extras (not including the reception) at $10,000. So far we are within that budget. We are just not going crazy with everything, and we are not getting a video.

Just figure that the hall is only about 60 percent of the total cost.

Including our reception and everything else... we will spend about $16,000 total.
That's as long as I stop looking for more nice things to buy for the big day
