Costa Cruiseline
Re: Costa Cruiseline
No but my German travel agent friend recommended them to me when we were at first looking at MEd Cruises for our HM.
Re: Costa Cruiseline
funny you should say that... I never heard of them before and suddenly today I had an email from them! Strange!
Re: Costa Cruiseline
I've heard from travel agents that because it is a European cruise line, the standards of quality are not as high as say the Royal Carribean or such (food wise, entertainment, etc). We were thinking of booking them for our HM and after reading a lot of the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided against it because we didn't want to take a chance. HTH
Re: Costa Cruiseline
My parents have been. They love cruises, usually go on Norwegian. They loved their Costa. It is Europena based, so don;t expect quite the food glut of American cruises, but they said there wre way less kids and it was much quieter.
Re: Costa Cruiseline
I went on a costa cruise this past feburary, not to europe but to the carribeans. I enjoyed the cruise a lot. The most clean ship you will ever ride, however the food was mediocre at best. Some nights good some just okay, and the waiters tended to be quite rude. Not the same as Carnaval but I still had a great time.
Re: Costa Cruiseline
I used to go on Costa all the time in the early 90's. They were by far the best cruise line at the time. Their service was impecable and very personal because their ships tend to be a bit smaller. They are also very clean. The food was very good but not great. I chose them over NCL and Royal Carr. at the time. I haven't been on a cruise in a long time though.
