Hey There! My friend Jessie has gone there quite a few times. There are really nice resort areas, but there are also areas that are very poor and just huts and stuff. Not sure that helps.
I went to Costa Rica last summer-- it is beautiful and fun, but I wouldn't go to Jaco (Central Pacific coast -- that is where we were) for my honeymoon-- it is poor and dirty in parts (cities) but the beaches are beautiful. However, the water is rough-- I couldn't swim in it-- and most of the hotels are are kind of rundown --'cabinas' they are called. The Northern Pacific coast is better-- Peninsula Papagayo, Tamarindo, Guanacaste-- are better places to travel to. Check out the Four Seasons-- it is amazing!
My aunt and uncle are in costa rica on vacation right now. They are staying at the Four Seasons. It is supposed to be really nice.
i stayed at the paradisus in costa rica (guanacaste)..it was amazin, it s an all inclusive resort, we had a great time

I went to Costa Rica 2 years ago and it was the best trip I think I've ever been on. I've been out of the country to the caribbean, Mexico and Europe a bunch of time. But Costa Rica was great
I went for my honeymoon and it was PERFECT!! The people are wonderful, the country is beautiful, and the food is yummy. We visited 4 different areas and drove all over the country. It was very pretty and so much fun! FM for more details!
A friend of mine has a house in Costa rica. We were thinking about going there on our honeymoon. She suggested that we picked some where else because the weather is not good in the summer months.
That's true and def. something to consider. I was there in August which was the 'rainy' season. It wasn't downpown though - usually a morning shower and clearer afternoon.
