Anyone know anything about honeymooning in Costa Rica?

We looked into it. The summer there is the rainy season, but apparently that just means that there might be a shower at some point during the day in the dry part of the country (the beaches). In the rain forest it rains more often. There are a lot of cool adventure activities you can do there and the beaches are nice, although they are in a seperate area. Prices are pretty good during rainy season. Hope that helps!

I have not honeymooned there but I did go on a romantic week in Costa Rica. We stayed at Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort. It was amazing. We went horse back riding. At the top of the mountain the guide served us fresh fruit and wine. We also did a Zip Line (think Tarzan), Kayaking, and shopping. The hotel was amazing. The food is great. Everything was fresh. we're doing the boutique honeymoon package and are extremely excited! we heard it's the 'rainy season' but it just sounds like florida during the summer - hot, humid, with a thunderstorm/shower mid-day to break up the humidity. no big deal, really. HTH
