costa rica honeymoon

ok ladies i am trying ti gather info for my costa rica honeymoon (in Jan 2012).
I found this suggested itinerary on frommers and this is what I am considering.
Any ladies been to any of these places? do you have hotel/restaurant recommendations? is it possible to get transportation to all these locations (without breaking the bank) or would we need to rent a car?

Here is a list of places to visit based on that itinerary:

San Jose (considering staying at a marriot bc i have some reward points for free nights)
Arenal (possibly stay at the tabacon)
Monteverde
Manuel Antonio
Guanacaste gold coast (considering the paradisus playa conchal or recreo)

We did the nicaragua day excursion on ricon which was ziplining horseback riding and white water tubing. They did offer an overnight excursion to aronel
You get a private cook your own golf cart and the beach is soooo nice
